Dear Viewers,
Greetings!!! In the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ
As we are nearing Christmas, Today I would like to share very important message.
Acts Chapter 10 talks about a person who was a commander in the Italian Regiment of the Roman military. His name was Cornelius. He was a devout, God-fearing man, as was everyone in his household. He gave generously to the poor and prayed regularly to God. He doesn’t know about Jesus nor was not a follower of Him. Then to whom was he praying? He has not worshiped any other God but was praying to the Lord who exists. Though he was as a righteous man he doesn’t know about Jesus. He was not saved. The bible says in ‘Acts 4: 12, Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.". So though he was righteous, he will not be able to enter heaven.
My dear viewers, Our lord knows that he was righteous so he doesn’t want him to lose heavenly kingdom just because he was not saved. He wants him to be saved. Cornelius had a habit of praying every day to God whom exists. One day while he was praying, at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, "Cornelius!" "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have been received by God as an offering! Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea."
As soon as the angel was gone, Cornelius called two of his household servants and a devout soldier, one of his personal attendants. He told them everything that had happened and sent them to Joppa. The men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate. Peter went down and said to the men, "I'm the one you're looking for. Why have you come?" Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests. The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the believers from Joppa went along. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. Cornelius said to peter, now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us." Peter preached about the Birth death & the Resurrection of Jesus. Cornelius & the people gathered were saved.
Dear Viewers, Just because we are righteous doesn’t mean we will inherit the kingdom of heaven. We should be saved. Romans 10:13 says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." God gave time for Cornelius. Today God is giving a time for you. Repent and be saved God bless you.
